New York Jets sideline reporter, Jenn Sterger, is set to appear on ABC's Nightline and Good Morning America this week.
Sterger will be heard by millions of Americans this week when she is interviewed on Nightline and Good Morning America. Some might be wondering who she is and why exactly she is being interviewed.
Sterger was formerly employed by the Jets in 2008, right when Brett Favre came to New York for a brief stint with the Jets. He must have found the young woman attractive because following the season, reports started to come out about Favre engaging in some less-than-flattering behavior.
The NFL investigated the incident in which Favre was accused of sending scandalous photos to the young woman who did not ask for them. The LA Times reveals, Sterger wishes she could go back to when none of this had ever happened.
She says she cannot go anywhere without someone knowing the incident she was involved in. Ultimately, the NFL fined Favre $50,000 for not cooperating with the investigation and that was that. Sterger, on the other hand, has had a rough time getting her career off the ground since then.
As Reuters reports, Sterger says that she is often just a joke now. Her career as a television host and possible anchor has been at a standstill since the incident.
Perhaps appearing on ABC will revamp her career as a station may give her a shot at the spotlight somewhere away from the drama.
