Beck, joined by his wife of 11 years, Tania, and one of his three daughters to watch Alfred Hitchcock's "The 39 Steps," recounted the "hostile situation." It included his wife having wine "kicked intentionally on [her] back" causing their blanket "to get wet," and then a man yelling, "We hate conservatives here!" to his wife and daughter during a bathroom break. "These people were some of the most hateful people I have ever seen," said Beck, adding that he thought people in the crowd wanted to "lynch" him
