Pat Robertson has unleashed another humdinger. In response to a viewer?s question on The 700 Club, the televangelist said it was OK to divorce a spouse who is suffering from Alzheimerapos;s disease. Robertson then added, ?"But make sure she has custodial care and somebody looking after her."? When Robertson?s co-host Terry Meeuwsen asked if marriage vows like ?"in sickness and in health?" should apply, Robertson went on to explain that Alzheimerapos;s is a ?"kind of death.? After the awkward exchange, the evangelist conceded that maybe an ethicist should make the call in these situations. | Views: 815 8 ratings | |
